Create Your Own Cue Skills
Cue users can build their own skills for the work they repeat, either by talking Cue through it or by uploading a skill file.
Getting Cue to handle a recurring piece of work meant describing it again every time, and there was no way to save a way of working and reuse it later.
What's new
Build a skill by describing it — start from a creation card, a slash command in a Cue chat, or simply by asking, and Cue works through the questions it needs answered to shape the skill.
Or upload one — provide a skill as a ZIP and Cue processes the files and assigns the skill to you.
Private to you — a custom skill belongs to whoever created it, and nobody else sees or runs it.
Two ways to run it — trigger a skill yourself with a slash command, or let Cue reach for it when you start chatting about something it covers.
Managed under Your Skills — every skill you have made is listed in one place, where you can manage or delete it.
Why it matters
Most people have a handful of checks they run the same way every week: a funnel review, an attendance sweep, a look at what has gone quiet. A custom skill turns one of those into something you can call by name, without waiting for anyone to build it for you.
What to expect
Custom Skills are personal for now. Sharing one with a team, publishing it, and browsing skills other people have made are all still to come.
