New in Source | language support across Source

See Source in the same language you already use elsewhere in Fountain.

Source now renders its interface in the user's preferred locale, matching the language already set up in Hire. The full Fountain platform — from candidate Sourcing through Hire — is available in every language Smartling supports for Hire.

What’s new

• Source UI strings render in the locale set on the user’s profile, with no separate Source-side configuration.

• Translations are managed through the same Smartling pipeline used by Hire, so language coverage stays consistent across products.

• Language preference is set once in Hire and applies to Source automatically.

Why it matters

Recruiting teams that operate across multiple regions can finally use Source in the same language as the rest of Fountain. Removing the language switch between products lowers training cost and makes Source usable for non-English-speaking recruiters without translation tools.

What to expect

• Users with a language already set in Hire will see Source render in that language at rollout — no action required.

• Customer-controlled content (job descriptions, custom field labels, etc.) is not translated by this feature; only Fountain’s own UI strings are.

• Locale coverage matches the existing Hire list.
