New in Source | proactive warning emails for hiring goals and budgets

Hear from Source before campaigns pause — not after.

Source now sends two new proactive warning emails to opening owners (with campaign creators on CC) so the right people can review and act before automation pauses anything. One alert fires when a hiring goal duration is near its end; the other fires when a budget is close to being fully spent.

What’s new

• A new email fires when 90% of a hiring goal’s duration has elapsed, prompting the owner to review the opening and extend the end date if needed.

• A new email fires when 80% of an opening’s budget has been consumed and target-budget automation is enabled.

• Both emails go to the opening owner with the campaign creators on CC.

• Each email includes a direct link back to the opening so reviewers can act without hunting through the dashboard.

Why it matters

Campaigns pause silently when hiring goals expire or budgets run out, which interrupts candidate flow and forces recruiters to firefight. These warning emails give owners enough lead time to extend a goal or top up a budget before the pause happens, so campaigns stay live and pipelines stay full.

What to expect

• Emails send automatically — no setup required. Existing opening owners and campaign creators are the recipients.

• The 80% budget email only fires when target-budget automation is enabled on the campaign.

• Each email includes opening name, current usage, and a direct link back to the opening details page.
