Source Support for Hiring Goals Without an End Date
Openings whose hiring goal has a start date but no end date are supported across Source.
Sourcing performance for an opening could only be tracked when its hiring goal had both a start and an end date.
What's new
Supported across Source — the Source dashboard, opening details, channel information and funnel pages all handle goals that have only a start date.
Statuses without risk — without an end date, a goal shows In progress once at least one applicant is counted, or Goal met when the target is reached. At Risk and On Track are not shown, and a tooltip explains that an end date is needed to calculate risk.
Add an end date any time — duration fields show the start date with an Add option for setting an end date.
Reach campaign spend — Reach campaigns show spend without a target budget until an end date is set, with a banner prompting you to add one to prevent overspending.
Automations — funnel and budget automations are available; the hiring goal automation needs an end date.
Why it matters
Teams that run hiring goals without a fixed end date still see sourcing performance, applicants, conversion and spend for those openings.
What to expect
Channel level and general recommendations are not shown for goals without an end date, and stage level risk status on the funnel page also needs one.
